What is a vacation to you? Maybe it is spending time with the family away from work. Maybe you like to travel to different countries and see the world, or maybe you just like being able to spend time sitting on your couch. Whatever your definition of vacation is, it is safe to assume that those relaxing days are important to you. You aren’t the only one who enjoys their personal time. Celebrities travel all around the world in hopes that they will be able to escape their hectic lives. When they escape to their favorite hot spots they are hoping that they can escape the paparazzi, the fans, and just enjoy their time like anyone else.

    1. Hawaii

Way out in the Pacific Ocean is the latest addition to the United States. Hawaii is a great escape for everyone from The Kardashians to The First Family. Not only do the cluster of islands offer tourists different vacation styles, but Hawaii is also home to some of the United States’ military personnel. The main three islands that people mainly visit are Maui, O’ahu, and the Big Island. If, however, you want more privacy, you can always rent an island like Bill Gates did when he married his wife Melinda. Back in 1994, Bill and Melinda decided that they wanted a little privacy for their wedding and were willing to do anything to get it. Usually when you travel to Hawaii, you can hop from island to island fairly easily and each one will offer you their own unique Hawaiian experience.

    1. Turks and Caicos

What do Bruce Willis, Christie Brinkley, and Donna Karan have in common? They all have homes in Turks and Caicos. Turks and Caicos are two groups of islands that are located about 600 miles southeast of Miami. Though it appears that these islands are in the Bahamas, they are led by completely different governments and are therefore separate. Currently, Americans and Canadians account for most of the tourism that flocks to the region. Most notable would be Hollywood celebrities. Parrot Cay is a private island that caters to the rich and famous. What would one night on this private island cost you? Well if you are ready to spend $1,000 to $25,000 dollars then you are going to fit right in at the exclusive resort. No, that is not for your whole stay, that is for one night. The best part for your fabulous lifestyle is that you can only get to the island by boat and that will cost you a few hundred.

    1. St. Barts

Where do celebrities love to go for the holidays? St. Barts is a known hotspot for the elite to go and enjoy the blend of Swedish and French culture. Throughout the island there have been sightings of everyone from Madonna to David Letterman. The warm January weather offers a great escape for the hardworking celebrities. If you want to feel real elite then you will want to try Le Toiny Resort. This resort offers just 12 suites and loves to cater to its wealthy clientele. Privacy is a main concern for the resort and it does everything in its power to make sure its celebrities enjoy a nice, photo free vacation.

    1. Cabo San Lucas

With all of the recent news about trouble in Mexico, you would think that tourism would have taken a hit. Yet, there are still many areas of Mexico that still see a steady stream of tourism from Hollywood. Cabo San Lucas is a known destination for reality stars, musicians, and veteran actors. Cabo is known for its warm waters, beautiful beaches, and great surfing. With its proximity to California it is no wonder that celebrities rush to vacation here.

  1. Miami

With its energy and location, what person would not want to travel to Miami? Will Smith even wrote a song about his love for this city. If you are looking to catch a celebrity then you might want to start with the beach. You can usually catch them soaking up the rays and enjoying the beautiful water. One of the most popular hot spots is the Fountainebleau Hotel. Even President Obama has hosted a party here. You know that if the President of The United States is there then you should be there also! Also, you can now stake out some of the celebrity-endorsed clothing stores that are local to the area and try to catch a glimpse of them while they are shopping.
